WELCOME

My work is about nature and how to see it. I believe that nature is inherently abstract—that is, it is irregular, unpredictable, imperfect. It is full of surprises, which makes it a perfect partner for abstract expressionism. I use images of landscapes—aerial photos, maps, Japanese paintings, my travels—and mix perspectives, color and materials to evoke a new experience.
